abstract
The following abstract is taken from the introductory paragraph of the thesis. "We designate by fatigue a condition of our organism that is developed by long continued work, and that, in addition to other symptoms, is characterized in particular by a reduction in capacity for and pleasure in work. It is further characterized by a reduction of efficiency, and subjectively by a complex of feeling and sensation (particularly the feeling of weariness and sensation of strain, mainly peripheral in origin), by a disinclination to exert effort, and ultimately by a desire to sleep."
note
State Teachers College of Colorado is a former name of the University of Northern Colorado.
