abstract
The following abstract is taken from the introductory paragraph of the thesis. "It is my belief that one of the greatest of all educational needs in the United States today is the instruction of the modern foreign languages in the schools. A very common and deplorable fault is to be found in the curricula of the schools throughout the United State, in that they contain little or no mention of any language but English; but, very recently, there are some signs of improvement." note
State Teachers College of Colorado is a former name of the University of Northern Colorado.
