A spacious study in the President's Residence. There is a roll-top desk in one corner with a vase, various papers and a taxidermy eagle on it. On the wall next to the desk is a calendar with a Native American on it, displaying the month of April. [Christy's note: I temporarily mirrored, zoomed in and enhanced the slide to see the calendar. Out of all the possible years this photo could have been taken, April 1st came on a Sunday in only one: 1906] Other furniture in the room includes a small wheeled cart with books and a succulent plant, a table with chairs, and an armoire.
