abstract
The following abstract is taken from the introductory paragraph of the thesis. "This discussion presupposes that the organization, the basic plan for the correlation and coordination of all the activities considered in the courses of study, has been formulated; that it is of the newest and most modern type so that every subject admitted to the courses has passed the test as being of both social and individual worth; that it is made up of material that can and does, under school conditions, function in the lives of pupils; that it reflects the interest, problems, and values of the social environment, and grows out of and is relevant to the expanding experiences of the pupils."
note
State Teachers College of Colorado is a former name of the University of Northern Colorado.
